Born on July 24th 1994, German-Israeli pianist Ido Ramot gave his public debut at the age of nine with the Johannesburg symphony orchestra. Since then, he has collaborated with Orchestras in Israel, Italy and France. In addition, he has performed solo recitals in Israel, Germany, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, the Middle East and the United States, taking the stage in some of the most prestigious halls, such as the Philharmonie in Berlin. Ido also performed frequently on Israeli, German and Italian Radio and Television.

In his journey as an emerging artist, Ido has been a critical figure in the revival of the lost art of improvisation, integrating his own personal creations into his solo performances and giving masterclasses.

Ido is a prizewinner of many competitions in his native country, Israel; including the first prize in the Chopin competition in Tel Aviv, and twice the winner of the "Piano For Ever" competition in Ashdod. Internationally, he is a medalist at the “Maria Canals” Piano Competition in Barcelona (2014), prize winner in the "European Piano Competition" in Bremen (2016) and received the third prize at the international “Les Etoiles du Piano” in Lille (2021). Ido is the laureate of the exclusive scholarship of excellence given by the American- Israeli cultural foundation.

As the winner of "L'europe du Piano" auditions, he has performed extensively throughout Europe under the umbrella of the famous “Piano Aux Jacobins” festival in Toulouse.

Ido has worked with great artists such as Vladimir Feltsman, Ilana Vered, Murray Perahia, Richard Goode, Susan Starr, Arie Vardi, Sergei Babayan and many more.

Among his teachers are Dr Itzhak Kossov and Prof Alexander Korsantia.

Ido has completed both his Bachelors and Masters of Music with distinction at the Hochschule für Music "Hanns Eisler", under Prof Eldar Nebolsin. He then went on to complete a specialised master in Piano Improvisation at the HMDK Stuttgart

Der am 24. Juli 1994 geborene deutsch-israelische Pianist Ido Ramot gab schon im Alter von neun Jahren sein öffentlich gefeiertes Debüt mit dem Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra. Seitdem hat er mit weiteren Orchestern in Israel, Italien und Frankreich zusammengearbeitet. Darüber hinaus brachten in Solokonzerte nach Israel, Deutschland, Spanien, Italien, Skandinavien, dem Nahen Osten und den Vereinigten Staaten. Dabei musizierte er in einigen der renommiertesten Konzertsäle der Welt, wie z.B. der Philharmonie in Berlin. Zudem war er häufig im israelischen, Deutschen und Italienischen Radio und Fernsehen zu sehen und zu hören.

Ramot ist ein vielfach ausgezeichneter Preisträger vieler internationaler Wettbewerbe, darunter der erste Preis beim Chopin-Wettbewerb in Tel Aviv und zweifacher Gewinner des „Piano For Ever“-Wettbewerbs in Ashdod. Ausserhalb von seinem Heimatland Israel wurde er Medaillengewinner beim Klavierwettbewerb „Maria Canals“ in Barcelona (2014), Preisträger beim „Europäischen Klavierwettbewerb“ in Bremen (2016) und erhielt den dritten Preis beim internationalen „Les Etoiles du Piano“ in Lille (2021). Darüber hinaus ist er Stipendiat eines exklusiven Exzellenzstipendiums der amerikanisch-israelischen Kulturstiftung.

Als Gewinner der „L'europe du Piano“-Auditions trat er unter dem Dach des berühmten „Piano Aux Jacobins“-Festivals Toulouse ausgiebig in ganz Europa auf.

Ramot hatte die Ehre mit renommierten Künstlern wie Murray Perahia, Vladimir Feltsman, Ilana Vered, Richard Goode, Susan Starr, Arie Vardi, Sergei Babayan u.v.m. zusammenzuarbeiten.

An der Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eißler“ Berlin hat er bei Prof. Eldar Nebolsin sowohl seinen Bachelor als auch seinen Master abgeschlossen. Anschließend absolvierte er einen Spezialmaster für Klavierimprovisation an der HMDK Stuttgart. Weitere Lehrer waren ausserdem Dr. Itzhak Kossov und Prof. Alexander Korsantia
